Several years ago it was decided to honor the military
service of those students having served from the LHS
Class of 1965. This decision was to lead to
another allowing all known LHS students to be so
recognized. Hence, you will find the names of known men
and women who have served (including those who gave the
ultimate sacrifice) in defense of this country.
Honoring these individuals
in this manner doesn't seem like enough in thanking them
for their service. However, their names (including
available obituaries) will remain on this website as
long as it exists. May we take the time to view the
names and be eternally grateful for their service and
sacrifice.
We know that there are many
veterans yet to be identified. We hope that should you
know someone from Longmont High that served (but whose
name isn't listed) that you please let us know:
