Leo F. LeRoux of Loveland died Friday, April 20, 2001, at his home. He was 55. He was born Jan. 10, 1946, in Roy, New Mexico, the son of Juan Baptisto and Adelaida (Garcia) LeRoux.

He graduated from Longmont High School in 1965 and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On June 19, 1982, he married Karen R. Youmans in Longmont.

 Mr. LeRoux lived in Loveland for 12 years and worked as a maintenance engineer for several years at the Factory Outlet Mall there. He loved to read and also enjoyed bowling, fishing and gardening. Mr. LeRoux attended Crossroads Covenant Church.

He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife Karen of Loveland; a son, Brandon LeRoux of Loveland; a daughter, Karolyn LeRoux of Loveland; his mother, Adelaida LeRoux of Longmont; six sisters, Isabelle Maes and her husband Reyes of Salt Lake City, Francine Wahlgren and her husband Charlie of Longmont, Mary Garcia and her husband George of Las Cruces, N.M., and Carmen LeRoux, Irene LeRoux and Christine Nelson and her husband Keith, all of Longmont; and five brothers, Victor LeRoux and his wife Diane of Johnstown, Reyes LeRoux, John LeRoux and his wife Dorothy and Louie LeRoux, all of Longmont, and Mark LeRoux and his wife Stacey of Loveland. 

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Galilee Baptist Church, with the Revs. John Smith and Gordon Peterson, both of Galilee Baptist, officiating. Cremation has been held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Leo F. LeRoux Memorial Fund, in care of Home State Bank. Allnutt Funeral Service of Loveland is in charge of arrangements.
