Eleanora L. STETSON-HENDRICKSON of Greeley, formerly of Longmont, died Friday, May 27, 2005, at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado. She was 84. Mrs. Stetson-Hendrickson was born March 30, 1921, in Filley, Neb., to Martinus and Stella (Larson) Jenson. She married Lester Stetson in Gering, Neb., on Dec. 3, 1938. They farmed and ranched in the Chadron and Crawford, Neb., areas until they moved to the Longmont area in 1959. Mrs. Stetson-Hendrickson was a cook at the A&W restaurant and a nurse’s aide at Eventide Nursing Home. Her first husband died in 1973, and she married Carl Hendrickson on Oct. 29, 1975. The couple moved to Johnstown and then on to Greeley. They enjoyed making quilts, canning, gardening and traveling. Mrs. Stetson-Hendrickson also loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husbands; one son, Kenneth Stetson; five brothers, Lester Jensen, Eugene Jensen, Melvin Jensen, Nels Jensen and LaVern Jensen. She is survived by three sons, Everett Stetson and his wife Dianne of Longmont, Larry Stetson and his wife Charlene of Longmont, Keith Stetson and his wife Kathy of Lincoln, Neb.; one daughter, Lois Milsap and husband Jerry of Evans; one brother, Dale Jensen of Loveland; two sisters, Mildred Stetson of Longmont and Aletha “Bobbie” Pearson of Longmont; eight grandchildren, Ron Stetson of Loveland, Christine Stetson of Erie, Michael Stetson and wife Coqui of Longmont, Brenda Parrill and husband Justin of Longmont, Troy Harness of Evans, Brandy Harness of Evans, Annette Stetson of Lincoln, and Donielle Stetson of Lincoln; eight great-grandchildren Matthew, Jordon, Alex, Rashann and Jasmine Harness and Roman Reyes, all of Hershey, Neb., Kiowa Stetson of Longmont, and Chance Stetson of Lincoln. Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Lewellen Longmont Memorial Chapel. Funeral services are schedule for 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at Lewellen Longmont Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Gary Van Gorp of Two Rivers Fellowship Church officiating. Interment to follow at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
