Albert LeRoy Johnson, of Evansville, Wyoming, formerly of Longmont, died Thursday, January 3, 2002, in Evansville. He was 55.

He was born January 17, 1946, to Carl F. Johnson and Lois H. (Parker) Mock in Denver. He attended Longmont High School. Mr. Johnson served as a machinist's mate in the construction battalion of the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1985. He served two tours in Vietnam. Following his retirement from the military, he resided in Evansville.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his stepfather, Fred L. Mock Jr.; and a stepsister, Barbara Mock.

He is survived by his father, Carl F. Johnson of Monte Vista; his mother of Firestone; a son, Albert Johnson Jr. of Longmont; two brothers, Randy C. Johnson of Fayetteville, N.C., and Fred L. Mock III of Pueblo; a sister, Lynda D. Agner of Firestone; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Johnson of Longmont.

Cremation was held in Wyoming. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 19, at New Song Foursquare Church, 1602 Ninth Ave., Longmont.

Inunrnment will be held in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver at a later date.
