Victoria ‘Vickie’ (Romero) STEPHENS
, 47, of Loveland passed away at her home on Feb. 5, 2008. She was born
July 6, 1960, in Boulder, Colorado, to Daniel and Maria (Pacheco)
Romero. She lived most of her life in Longmont and graduated from Longmont High School
in 1979. She has lived in Loveland for six years.
Victoria
drove a school bus for the
Longmont and Loveland school districts for
over 10 years. She enjoyed crocheting and fishing and was full of life.
She loved people, and her family was very important to her. She loved
the Lord with all her heart and loved attending her church with her son,
instructing him in the ways of the Lord. She had a big heart for kids
and loved working with them. She coached children’s soccer for many
years.
Victoria
is survived by her parents, Daniel and Maria Romero of Loveland,
Colorado; son Jonny Stephens of Loveland, Colorado; brother Bobby Romero
(Rose) of Longmont, Colorado; and sister Virginia Ramos (Jim) of Evans,
Colorado.
She was
preceded in death by a brother, James Daniel Romero; and a sister,
Priscilla Romero.
Funeral
services will be held Saturday 9 a.m. at the LifeSpring Covenant Church,
743 S. Dotsero. Viewing at the church one hour prior the service. Burial
at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery, Longmont, Colorado.
