Rose Maier Clennon of 1445 Stuart St. died on Monday, April 29, 1991, at her home. She was 79. Born on August 26, 1911, in Longmont, she was the daughter of John Maier and Lillie Casey Maier.

Mrs. Clennon graduated from Longmont High School in 1929, and then attended the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley. In 1940, she moved to Bremerton, Washington to work for the local Red Cross. From this position she progressed in her employment with the American National Red Cross and served from 1962 to 1976 at Moffitt Air Force Base, Mass.; Vicinza, Italy, U.S. Army Base; military base at Stuttgart Germany; Cannon Air Base, N.M.; Edwards Air Base, Calif.; military base at Treasure Island, Calif.; Saigon, Vietnam; Fort Lewis U.S. Army Base, Wash.; military base at Rhein Maen, Germany; and Fort Carson, from whence she retired.

In 1977 she moved to Longmont from Colorado Springs. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Fred, John, Tm, and Cal Maier; and one sister, Mary Major. Mrs. Clennon is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Longmont.
