I remember Chuck very well because we were in the same art class for the 1963 school year at the old high school and he even autographed my yearbook. He is the guy that wrote the word, "HI" in great big letters with a paint brush and blue paint on the back side of my new white Levi's as I was leaning forward working on a project. A real cut-up. Everyone thought it was funny except for me. Even though I was mad about it for awhile afterward, we remained friends for the rest of that school year and parted on good terms. Here is what Chuck said when he signed my yearbook:
Ricky, Fond high school memories. It just doesn't seem possible that he is gone and I feel badly about it.
