Karen Brack (Olson), Sept. 30, 1947-April 5, 1989 Karen Mary Olson, 41, of 9751 Adams St. in Thornton, died Wednesday, April 5, 1989, in an automobile accident in Thornton. She was born Sept. 30, 1947, in Longmont to Elmer Brack and Hilda Lonek Brack. She married Walter Olson on Dec. 26, 1969, in Denver. She graduated from Longmont High School (1965) and attended Metro State College for two years, where she studied law enforcement and was licensed as a State Certified Guard. She moved to Thornton in 1985. Mrs. Olson worked as a mail-handler at the Post Office in Commerce City. She was a member of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Olson is survived by her husband of Thornton; her son, Sean Jay Olson of Thornton; her parents of Longmont; her brother, David Jay Brack of Arvada; her husband’s parents, Walter and Marnie Olson of Wisconsin; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Shirley Brown, Delores Holbrook and Donald, Richard and Roger Olson, all of Wisconsin, and her nieces, Kimberly and Brendie Brack. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Daniel Flaherty of Spirit of Peace Catholic Community officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
