Diane Dodero (Johnson),  Dec. 24, 1947-Aug. 15, 1998

Diane Dodero Johnson of La Habra, Calif., formerly of Longmont, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 1998, in La Habra of lung cancer. She was 50.

She was born Dec. 24, 1947, in Denver to Tony Dodero and Katherine Steckline Dodero. She moved to Longmont in 1965.   

She married Kerry Johnson on Aug. 28, 1971, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont. The couple moved to California after their marriage.

Mrs. Johnson was a cosmetologist.  She was of the Catholic faith and belonged to the PTA for 13 years. She was also a member of the St. Jude’s Hospital support group in Fullerton, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband Kerry and two sons, Scott and Brian, of La Habra, Calif.;  her mother, Katherine Dodero of Longmont; two brothers, August Dodero of Loveland and Tony Dodero of Longmont;  two sisters, Anthonette Ritts of Goodyear, Ariz., and Kathy Dodero of Longmont;  and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at Our Lady  of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Habra. Burial was held at Memory Gardens in Brea, Calif.
