COMPTON, Charles R. Jan. 20, 1948 - May 8, 2003 Charles R. Compton died Thursday, May 8, 2003, at Nathan Adelson Hospice-East in Las Vegas, Nev. He was 55. He was born Jan. 20, 1948, in Waxahachie, Texas. (He graduated from Longmont High School in 1965). Mr. Compton was a driver for ReadyMix Concrete. He had lived in Las Vegas for 10 years. Mr. Compton is survived by his wife, Kathy of Las Vegas; a daughter, Heather Ornstein of Golden; a son, Kelly of Henderson, Nev.; his mother, Doris of Las Vegas; a sister, Janette Smith of Longmont; a brother, James of Wildomar, Calif.; and a grandson, Gage.
Services were held at 5 p.m.
Saturday, May 10, at Palm Mortuary-Jones in Las Vegas. Memorial contributions
