Delene SueTUOMINEN , 57, of Raymond/Riverside, CO, went to be with her precious Lord and Savior July 6, 2007.

She was born October 27, 1949 in Longmont to Glen and Valdean Peppler. She graduated from Longmont High School in 1967. On June 25, 1967, Delene married Jerry Tuominen in Longmont and recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in Sedona, Arizona.

Delene worked in the medical field for over twenty-five years. Her passion in life was teaching children about God. She held Good News Clubs at her home, taught Children’s Church and looked for opportunities to touch little one’s hearts with God’s love.

Delene is survived by her husband Jerry, her parents Glen and Valdean Peppler of Longmont, one son Jerry “Scott” Tuominen of Raymond, two daughters Angela Johnson and husband Doug of Longmont and Melissa Johnson of Park City, Utah, three sisters Cherine Steel and husband Bill of Lyons, CO, Bonita Ekx and husband Scott of Platteville, CO, and Marcia Warembourg and husband Ron of Frederick, CO, one brother Glen Peppler and wife Rachelle of Greeley. She was adored by nine grandchildren Kade, Austin, Brooke, Ashton, Tabor, Jayci, Jenna, Caleb and Jordan, and they will always have a special place for her in their hearts.

It gives the family great comfort in knowing that Delene is celebrating and worshiping with our Lord and Savior. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Grace Place, 250 Mountain Ave., Berthoud, CO, with Rev. Rose Pauly officiating.
